RTE is Irelands national public service broadcaster of Ireland and produces programmes and broadcasts them on television, radio and the Internet. It is a semi-state company and its first broadcast was on radio in 1926. It later started to broadcast on television in the 1960’s and in more recent years on the Internet Today it is now one of the oldest continuously operating public service broadcasters in the world. The longest running chat show in the world, The Late Late Show, is th emost populor show on the RTE. The studious also has a host of other television and radio shows, including The Saturday Night Live – hosted by Brendan O’ Connor, Operation Transformation, Winning Streak and Fair City.
