Stayed here June 06 with three friends.Hotel is just outside Dublin centre, about 10 mins in taxi.It is just across the road from a beautiful beach.Rooms were of good size and very clean.Bar was quiet and had a lovely decked area outside, great for the sunshine.Good food and drink from the bar and breakfast was buffet, eat what u want, very tasty.Staff were friendly and helpful. The DART system was close at hand ,five mins walk away, for 2 euro u can get to Dublin centre. We would definitley use this hotel again and we would highly recommend it .No complaints.

We found the Tara Towers to be a very comfortable and reasonably priced hotel. Although on the outskirts of Dublin, there were regular buses from just outside the hotel into the city, and the area peaceful and enjoyed our view of Dublin Bay. Just over the road, you could catch the Dart (rail system) to easily reach and explore other places like pretty Bray town, so no car was need for our entire stay. We also enjoyed the bar and restaurant provided by the hotel. Would definitely stay there again.

"Comfortable hotel offering good value rates"
The Tara Towers is situated near Booterstown within walking distance of a light rail station with frequent services to and from Dublin city centre. For tourists the light rail connection is a real bargain. Sit on the seaward side of the train for spectacular scenery as it travels from Greystones on the South side to Howth on the North side of Dublin Bay. Cheap and worthwhile this is a great way to see Ireland and touch base with the local community. The Tara Towers is a very good hotel, well managed with comfortable rooms at attractive rates. The hotel bar acts as a "local" for the residents of the surrounding area - always a good indicator of quality and service in Ireland. The bar offers a limited food menu, a weak point in an otherwise excellent establishment. As would be expected of an hotel built over thirty years ago the rooms are spacious with those to the front and right side of the building enjoying superb views over the Bay. The breakfast is excellent, offering a choice of traditional Irish served buffet style and a range of healthy options. At a time when service quality is in decline and hotel rates are increasing the Tara Towers remains great value for money retaining the traditional ethos of service for business and leisure travellers. I recommend it highly.

"Excellent reception, highly recommended"
This was the second time we have stayed at the Tara Towers Hotel in 4 months. Each stay we had excellent help from the receptionists. The hotel is located on the south end of Dublin a far distance from the local attractions. This was not a problem because the number 7 bus takes you right in the middle of Dublin for 1.50 Euros. Quaint bar and lounge area. Rooms were very clean and mid-sized. We were very happy with this quiet and friendly hotel!

"Great Hotel, Great Prices"
I stayed at the Tara Towers Hotel at the start of October, I found it to be a friendly well run hotel, the hotel bar was warm and welcoming and there was live music at the weekend, which left me singing to the wee hours of the morning!! The staff were great, very friendly and no request seemed to be a problem, the rates were very affordable, so all in all I had a great trip and I am already booked in for a short break in the new year!

Lovely location and very handy for the Dart and Bus. We had a very comfortable room with beautiful sea view, breakfast was very good and staff very helpful and friendly. All in all a very nice hotel and the price I got B&B for the two of us represented excellent value for money. I look forward to staying here again soon and would certainly highly recommend it to friends and family.
